Nice to have this timeless piece. Quite haunting & stark, contrasted by its beauty Favorite track: A Portrait of A Young Man Drowning.

rikm Three tracks in a classic nineties Goth style that speak to the timeless appeal of that era, songs that take the listener back to late nights in dark smoky basements and dancing until we blissfully collapsed...

Highly recommended.

Andy The road to black metal is also paved with the darkest indie and my somewhat eclectic tastes have travelled these roads before. These clanging guitars, up tempo yet morose vocals belong to a bygone age. Thank you Shadow Age for breathing life into a genre that brought a dark pleasure to a whole generation. Favorite track: Silaluk.

Silaluk 03:24
Two seas away / With the faintest dreams of waking up to you / Alone. Cold. Scared. / In a forgotten place / I'm beyond saving / I've lost the face that I know is waiting / My memory's fading / Hopeless eyes / Catch the storm raging / Lifeless souls / Disintegrating / Forgot the warmth that preserved me / As I sank in a blanket of snow / Accept that I've lost your voice / And that I'm so afraid to come home / I can't feel but this overexposure / It grows and it grows and it grows / Its unstoppable / The static it goes right through me / I toss and I turn because I know that its over / Hopeless eyes / Catch the storm raging / Sleepless souls / Disintigrate
2.
Sinking back deep as the stars fade into the black / Cold and fear now rape me / I bury my face in my hands / With the weight in my chest I'm an anchor filled with regret / Slowly I open my eyes / MY lungs expand and explode and the ocean collects in my throat / The days of pain in waiting / I let out a scream and my soul rushes out of my lungs / I know that I'm only afraid / Because all that I've felt never matched with the things I have made / When they see that I need to be saved / It will be too late / The stars that shine up above / Won't light our way to be loved / The days of pain in waiting

Innocence 04:12
Lives so full of joy / Flowing with hope / The laughs ring out as children play / Their hearts beat like a humming bird's / Fluttering with vigor / They grow old / Their innocence fades away / Damn these sunken eyes / They've seen it all / In life decay is necessary / An aged man full of years / Staring in the mirror / I just stare/ And pray I find myself again
